Mrs. Palandro
English 9 & 10

English at Fonda-Fultonville High School is more than reading and writing. It is an exploration of our use of language as a society, as well as a journey through literature. One of the most important aspects is writing. Writing is power, and one of our main goals is to learn how to harness this power and use it to learn about ourselves, change our world, and shape our lives.

Instructional Beliefs:
I believe each child has the ability to succeed; however, the definition of success varies with each learner. I believe learning is something that involves not only the traditional methods of reading and writing, but also talk, hands-on exploration, and movement.
