Student Lockers (Very Important)

Students- you are to use only the locker assigned to you on your schedule. Also, you are advised to bring your own lock and to keep your locker locked at all times to protect your school materials and your personal belongings. You are also advised to give a key or combination to Mrs. Fonda in the high school office, so that you can get into your locker if you forget your key or combination. The school is not responsible for lost or stolen valuables. You are strongly advised to check valuables or cash in the high school office. Do not deface your locker in any way. Students are responsible for their assigned locker. Report all incidents of vandalism to the office. School lockers are subject to search at any time.

Middle School

The Middle School is off limits to high school students. If you find that you have to go into the middle school area, you must obtain a pass from the high school office. This is the same procedure for going to the nurses' office. Anyone in the M.S. or K-4 buildings without permission is subject to disciplinary action.

Remaining in the School Building After School Hours

Students are not allowed to remain after 2:29 unless they are under the direct supervision of a faculty member, coach, or advisor.

Students Who Drive to School

Students who drive to school must park in the designated student parking areas and register their vehicle in the high school office each school year. Students must abide by all traffic safety rules and parking regulations. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action. A mandatory meeting for all student drivers will be held on Wednesday, September4, 2008 from 2:30 to 2:45 p.m. in the auditorium. You must attend this meeting in order to register your vehicle for student parking.

Please do not ask to go to your car once you are in the building. Bring in all your required belongings upon arrival.

Pre-signed Passes

Any student who needs to visit a teacher, make up a test, get help, etc during a study hall period, must obtain a pre-signed pass from that teacher prior to homeroom (7:45-7:57), not prior to the period they would like to come. Students must present this pre-signed pass to the study hall teacher and sign out of study hall. Once students have reached their destination, they must remain there until the end of the period unless the teacher calls the study hall teacher to let them know the student will be returning. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD STUDENTS BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE STUDY HALL WITHOUT A PRE-SIGNED PASS!!!!!!!!!!

Lunch and Lunch/Study Hall Periods

Students should read their schedules and report to the proper location.

Students with odd sections on their schedules should eat first and go to study hall the second half of the period. Students with even sections on their schedules should go to study hall first and eat the second half of the period.

Homework Requests

In the event of a student absence, students and/or parents who are requesting homework are asked to do so by 8:15 a.m. at the latest. If your request is after 12 noon, may be too late to gather your homework for the day.

Homeroom Information

Students who arrive in homeroom after the 8 a.m. bell are tardy and must sign in at the high school office.

Students are expected to enter homeroom on time. Students must enter homeroom before the bell rings and will not be permitted to enter when you are late unless you have signed in at the office and received a late pass! Passes from other in-school locations are not sufficient – students must have a late pass from the high school office.

Athletes and students who participate in extracurricular activities must be in attendance by 9:30 a.m. and must remain in school for the remainder of the day. The only exception is for a legal reason (i.e. doctor or dentist-Appointment card required! Parent note is not valid.) No note, no practice, no game..

Excuse notes for early release from school and bus notes should be submitted to the high school office by 7:57 each morning.

School pictures

School pictures will be taken on September 24 and 25. Information was sent home with tentative schedules.
