We would like to thank all of the parents who came to Open House.  We enjoyed meeting you and hope you found the evening to be a helpful, informative experience. Five week progress reports are being sent home on Thursday, October 9, 2009.  On the back of the report is a letter asking for $12.00 from each family to support our monthly reward activities.  September's reward activity was a sundae party that everyone got to attend and enjoy.  October's activity is a surprise and will be based on 100% homework completion in the four core subjects. Homework is the cornerstone of academic success.  Every Team Gold student receives homework Monday- Thursday of every week (with a few exceptions). Sometimes there is also homework on Fridays in certain subjects (often times ELA).  Be sure to check your child's agenda and call the homework hotline if you have any questions. Just a reminder to please send in those box tops!  All four homerooms on Team Gold have already earned their first pizza party!! Congratulations and thank you for your tremendous support of such a worthwhile program.  The Food Drive will begin in November,  please start stocking up now!!
