Club received NY awards
The
Fonda-Fultonville High School Key Club attended the annual 58th
Annual N.Y. District Key Club Convention in Monticello on March
24-26. New York District Key Club officers were installed for the
new Key Club Administrative Year starting March 26 until March of
2007. FFHS junior Grant Egelston was installed as the Lieutenant
Governor for Division #17. Lieutenant Governor Grant will oversee
the 14 Key Clubs in Division #17 which consists of Key Clubs from
Amsterdam, Broadalbin- Perth, Burnt Hills, Fonda-Fultonville,
Gloversville, Johnstown, Mayfield, Mohonasen, Niskayuna, Schalmont,
Schenectady, Schoharie, Scotia-Glenville and Schenendehowa.
Awards were given out during the convention with the FFHS Key Club
receiving the Most Outstanding Key Club award in Division #17. The
Distinguished Key Clubber Award was awarded to Incoming FFCS Key
Club President Sarah Woodcock and Vice-President Audrey Egelston.
Only 180 members received the Distinguished Key Clubber award out
of 12,000 Key Clubbers in N.Y District Key Club. The Fonda-Fultonville
Key Club advisor is Sally R. Ochampaugh. The club is sponsored by
the Fonda-Fultonville Kiwanis Club.
