Board appoints David
Halloran as new high school principal
The Fonda-Fultonville Board of Education appointed
David Halloran as the new high school principal at its September 24
meeting. He will assume his new position on October 22.
Mr. Halloran is the current assistant principal at
Johnstown High School and a former social studies teacher at
Ballston Spa Central School. Prior to becoming a teacher, he was a
construction foreman and worked as an Alaskan king crab fisherman.
"Dave went through a fairly rigorous process, and
received the unanimous support of the Board of Education, as well as
the constituent groups with whom he met," said District
Superintendent Dr. James Hoffman. "We are very happy that he has
agreed to join our program, and look forward to having him becoming
part of the Fonda-Fultonville family."
